Welcome to Kids’ Storyworld, a place for curious minds, limitless imagination, and a love of stories. Here, children and the grown ups who support them can dive into books, explore new worlds, and set off on exciting journeys together.

We passionately believe stories belong to everyone. This is a place to celebrate reading in all its forms. From sharing favourite books and discovering fresh stories, to creating your very own ideas.

Kids’ Storyworld is about encouraging reading for pleasure and enjoying the magic that stories can bring.

Here, we share:

✨ Your Words! Children share their own story creations based on a monthly theme or challenge. The top three stories each month receive a £10 National Book Token voucher.

✨ Book Battle! A fun way for children (and their grown ups!) to share their favourite books! Kids vs. adult and go head to head in a public vote to see which tales reign supreme. The winning team is crowned Book Overlord(s), earning ultimate bragging rights.

✨ Storyworld Creators! Exciting author and Illustrator interviews (with some fantastic guests lined up!)

✨ Our Storyworld! A short Kidlit Q&A for children and their grown ups. Full of creative questions to spark imaginative conversations and shared reading adventures.

✨ Book suggestions and more: Recommendations, reading tips, activities, and book suggestions that make stories an exciting part of everyday life,
